Well it's true!  Send/Receive and Print work (with reservations).

My Send test came out legible but jaggy on my wife's work fax machine.  
This was supposedly 200 dpi.  Also the rightmost edge was cropped.  Looks 
as if what I sent was too big for the receiving machine.

Receive worked, and once I knew to try Printing with something that uses 
the Print Manager open, Print worked too.

Not perfect, but there's light at the end of the tunnel!  :)
