Well, that would depend heavily on what laser printer you get.  Many 
LaserWriters support direct serial connections, although many of the 
newer ones only support a LocalTalk connection.  If you are talking about 
LaserJet or other printer from the PC world, then it will probably be a 
parallel printer.  There are serial-to-parallel converters, but they are 
REALLY slow.  You would probably be happier with a parallel card.  You 
can pick them up on csa2.marketplace for not too much.  You would also 
need drivers (Independence, Harmonie).
