Apple /// SOS files are exactly the same as Apple][ prodos files.  100%
compatible.
 
Apple /// Applewriter files are simple asci text, and can be loaded directly
into Apple ][ Applewriter, Appleworks (make a new file from a text file on
disk) or Appleworks GS (standard "open file" dialog).  They should load
right into any Big Blue DOS wordprocessor worth the powder to blow it up
after you get it that far.
 
I have Apple ///'s and a IIGS, and do such transfers almost daily.  Piece of
cake.
