Number Cruncher

I am seriously considering purchasing number cruncher.  What I want to know is how much performance I will get?  Take for example running rsrt.  At the moment it takes around 4hours to do a screen of reasonable complexity.  If I compile this program using the NC headers, will I get much more performance?

I also run symbolix, and it seems that I will not get that much more speed, as I am running an a 10MHz machine.  

Also, how fast does the board run at?  And what speed 68882 chip should I get?
