I think he wants to know if there's a way to quit a Prodos 8 app without having
to reload GS/OS into memory. I'm sure there is but the reason GS/OS doesn't
stay in memory is because it would soak up memory when it's not in use.
There's really no point when all you'd be doing would be wasting RAM.
