If you feel like risking it, on the ROM 01, you could try soldering in a
connector for one of the batteries in, say, a cordless phone. Then just trade
out the old dead batterie for a new one when they go bad. Just make sure that
the particular battery that you decide to use is the same voltage and approx.
the same Amp-hour rating as the one already in the computer. I think they
are 3.6 volts, but I'm not sure off hand of their amp-hour rating...
