Because by any modern standard (such as that on machines running Mosaic),
the GS graphics are just this side of pathetic.  The GS does 640x200x16
dithered colors in the mode you'd want to use for Mosaic, whereas on my PC
at work I run 1280x1024x256 pure colors at a high refresh rate.  If you want
res and colors like that on a GS, you'll want to wait for the Second Sight
or TurboRez, although the GS's outdated 1 mhz I/O architecture will seriously
cramp the style of speedy screen updating.
