   All of these 3 are commercial, most likely not published anymore, but
have enjoyed track records as stable and pretty fast.

Beagle Bros: Beagle Compiler
 - Pros & cons: Compiles really quickly, runs under ProDOS letting you
   use standard editors. But, only compiles straight Applesoft, no
   while/do or no line number Basic extensions
Zedcor: ZBasic
 - Pros & Cons: total environment, with editor. Support for most graphic
   modes (DHR, etc), and basic extensions. Cons: I hated the editor,
   might have been hard to import things. Beagle Compiler seemed to
   produce faster code for me.
Micol Advanced Basic
 - Never used by myself. Might still be supported more than the other
   two.
