I used the same drive on a GS at work and it makes a really nice
boot volume. The first thing I did was reformat the drive using the
Sider utilities disk and set the DOS 3.3, Pascal, and CP/m volumes
as small as it would allow. I did the same for the second ProDOS
partition. I put the controller card in slot 7. Now here's where my
memory gets a little hazy, but I think I launched the GSOS v6.01
Installer disk and went ahead installing the system software on the
drive. I may also have looked at it with the Advanced Disk Utilities
that came with GSOS. In any event, the installation went smoothly
as I recall. The only problem was I found the overhead for the
unused partitions consumed 1.5 Mb of the drive leaving me with 8.5
Mb of free space. But, with the addition of HardPressed it worked
quite well. I've since moved the Sider back over to a IIe where it
runs a small ProLine BBS.
Have fun!
