The version I got in the mail must have been fixed, since it never made 
me crash coming out of P8.  I did try the latest version from their BBS, 
dated 2/17 & said to work with Class 1 faxmodems.  Same results.

BTW, when my Send attempts fail, I don't crash.  I'm just back at the NDA 
as if nothing had happened.
