In case you didn't find the info yet:
Low-res: (40x48) 16 colors
hi-res: (280x192) 6 colors
double-hi-res: (140x192) 16 colors
super-hi-res: (640x200) 4 colors, (320x200) 16 colors, with up to
something like 4096 possible colors.

BTW:  The //gs can support up to 4Gig partitions and probably larger
than that hard drives.  Of course, ProDOS 8 still has it's normal
limits, but GS/OS doesn't.
