I am a mac(lc575) user at home and a unix user at work (with a lot of
pc's networked in).
-
I have a very good apple 2e(1M ram board) that I bought in 1982/3(?) with
a 5 1/4" disc drive...I use the 2e occasionally with Appleworks (and a lot
of kids software) as I've got a lot of old/large/usefull files...I've been
told that I would need a new 'board' (?*$100) to connect a 3 1/2" floppy
drive to the 2e (so that I could move stuff to/from the mac)...but I don't
want to spend the time/money.
-
I've got pc's at work with multiple drives, and if I can read a Prodos
formatted floppy with Appleworks ascii files via the pc's I could
read the 'works/wordperfect' dos 3 1/2 floppys on my mac.
-
So can a pc with tons of different software read a Prodos Appleworks
ascii file????
