Re: On Balance by Broderbund

Actually, On Balance was not DOS 3.3 based. It used a custom loader and a
custom format for its data disks. I have version 1.2.9 which came on a
3.5" disk but requires a 5.25" disk for data storage. I checked both the
program disk and the data disk, using GSOS 6.01, and the available FSTs
did not recognize the format of either. I tried a couple other utilities
and they likewise were unable to recognize the format. The disks are not
copy protected, they can be copied with any utility. I was unaware that
Bottomline was actually the same program. Can anyone confirm this?
