It wasn't even a very good attempt.  They basically used the exact same code
for online and threw a pretty Super-hires picture on for a startup screen.

AOL had apperently decided to give up on the entire Apple // line.  One thing
I do remember seeing, right before dumping my subscription to AOL, was that
guy had done up some new coding to make a little better use of the GS.

I can't remember his name off-hand, and I don't think it was an officially
sponsered thing by AOL.  You could try getting into their Apple // section,
and see if anything about it still exists.
