ZIP GS causing interference

I am having a problem with my ZIP GS causing interference with my
display. But for some reason, it only seems to affect 8 bit
programs that are displaying numeric values. I have only
noticed the problem in two programs, Managing Your Money 4.0, and
Appleworks 3.0 (spreadsheet). I would enter say, 1000 and hit
return, and it would display 750 or something.
At first I thought I had a bad copy of MYM, but then it worked
fine on my old IIc+. Then I figured there was something wrong
with my GS. So I got another GS (a ROM 3 this time) and tested
that out. Everything worked fine. So I switched everything over
to the new computer, and started getting those errors again.
I then tried the old ROM 01 GS without the ZIP GS, and now that
is working fine. So it must be the ZIP.

Has anyone else noticed this, or could you test to see if your
ZIP is doing this? Just enter the spreadsheet module of Appleworks
and enter 1000. Appleworks GS did not show the problem, it is
only the 8 bit version. BTW, I have the 7 MHz version with what
they claim is a 32k cache.

Thanks, Kevin
