I started this many years back .. while done in FileMaker, 'cause I
wanted more control of the UI for administration, and then I'd worry
about linking with mysql.

What I have been trying to accomplish on the local end of things, is
for that lower half of the screen, to do clairvoyant lookup like but
have it sort with the focus field in the *middle* of the window.

Not on top. That way one could see "above" and "below" the best
queried matching item.

I'm in a position now more than then, to make the rest of this thing a
reality, and get a start on cataloging tons of stuff.
