yep - the problem seems to be with the apl card :) I too have this problem and
it seems to be that appleworks (happens with some other versions too as i
remember) doesn't recognise the apl as being a printer card ! This is what i
remember from some discussions with david empson. He was looking into a patch
for this ... but you needed a disk sector editor - which i don't have :(
Basically it was to persuade appleworks not to look :). Easy solution ... buy
a different card :)
