I'd suggest:
1. Check the Control Panel, make sure slot #1 is "Your Card"
2. In System 6(.0.1) try the DC Printer; remove the ImageWriter
Driver from the Drivers folder
3. Try your own code from within Appleworks "Control-I 80N"
4. Try turning off any inits/blankers by holding down shift when
booting
