Apple part numbers
I have two questions about Apple part numbers.
While flipping through some of my Apple manuals, I noticed that most
of them are identified with two numbers: a "reorder number" that looks
like A2L0043, and another number that looks like 030-0217-B (those
numbers are for the Language Card manual, BTW). Some, mostly newer
manuals, only have the 030-xxxx number. Does anyone know why Apple
used two different systems for numbering parts?
My second question is: has Apple ever published an exhaustive list
of all Apple II stuff (computers, peripherals, manuals, addenda, etc.)
they've made, along with their part or reorder numbers? On the
developer CDs, perhaps? I would be very interested in this.
