Anyone know about the SILENTYPE PRINTER?

Yeah, I picked up this really old Silentype Thermal printer at
 agarage sale.  But I can't get it to go.  It came with a card, but
the card doesn't seem to go in the right direction.  I tried to
get the darn thing going in a IIe but got no response no matter
what program I tried.  I tried it in a GS, but the GS went a little
nutty when I sent a print command....Th eprinter is small and cool looking
and would be great for printing non-letter junk... but I don't think
it was intended for anything but An Apple ][ or ][+.
