No, I did not solve the problem because there is no solution. The
Harmonie driver will only print the second and subsequent pages correctly
(while in 300 dpi mode) if the program printed from treats each page as
if it were page one of a new document. AppleWorks GS is such a program.
Programs which treat the second and subsequent pages correctly eg.
GraphicWriter III, will not get the required result. The reason for this
is that the Harmonie driver does not set the printer correctly for
subsequent pages. David Empson (dempson@actrix.gen.nz) did considerable
work to discover the cause of the problem and I wrote to the publisers of
Harmonie and sent files which showed both the input to the driver and the
output from it to the printer. These demonstrated the problem
precisely. The correspondence was not acknowledged.
