There are a series of drivers for AppleWorks 3.0 and 4.0 available
through NAUG, GEnie and perhaps CompuServe. There are 43 drivers for
100+ printers. That is the good news. The bad news is, the only Citizen
mentioned is the Citizen 120D driver, however, it or one of the others
probably will work.
Also, what version of AppleWorks does your friend have? The driver disk
doesn't exist for 2.0 or earlier.

Yes, but voice on a telephone call travels about 1/2 the speed of light
