My card has a 1989 copyright printed on the board, with a 1988
copyright on daugtherboard and/or ROMs (don't have the card here to check).
Whatever the case, there was a short period AE shipped TWGS's rated at
6.3 MHz, although some people have claimed they have pushed them to 7 MHz by
simply changing the crystal. I suppose I'll try this as it's not soldered.
Speaking of the 32k option, does anyone know where they can be
found? Even if I can't locate the newer GAL chips, at least it would
permit me to upgrade my TWGS from 6/8 to 7/32. Parts I need are a new
ribbon cable, 28 MHz oscillator and the 32k cache/ROM daugtherboard.
