SCSI is SCSI. I have an 88MB SyQuest hooked up to my GS and it works
quite happily.

What version of ROM do you have for your RamFAST? You might have to get
the latest version if you want to use a SyQuest. I believe Sequential
Systems offers RamFAST ROMs at a very reasonable fee. Just remember to
mention that you have a Rev. C board.
Another thing you may consider is buying another hard drive and chain it
to your existing drive and use that as a backup.
