Sorry, but this is not true.
I have downloaded about 80 WAVs to my GS, both 8- and 16-bit and they
all worked fine using AudioZap and/or Rsounder (though with the latter
you have to use the "clear zeros" to make it work, but it +does+)
I only have noticable clicking on a few...but I can stand it.
