DiscQuest info needed

I just got mu QC catalog, and noticed they had both DiscQuest and Second
Sight...
 
A couple of questions...
 
1) what limitations are there on CD-ROMs usable with DQ?  What makes one
   CD usable, when others aren't?
 
2) is there support for Second Sight in, or planned for, DQ?
