:No. You need at least a little analog circuitry connected to the
:audio input pin, and probably amplification/impedance balancing. The
:smallest "card" I've seen was included with HyperStudio (from Roger
:Wagner Publishing) along with a microphone. It wasn't a "card", as
:such - it was a small circuit board (about 1.5" square) that clamped
:into the back panel of the IIgs, with wires running to the internal
:sound connector and to the fan power connector. They may still have
:them available, but I don't know if you can buy them without buying
:HyperStudio.
I'm going out on a limb and saying "Wrong!". To my knowledge, a
friend of mine hooked up his GS so he could do audio sampling with no
additional hardware aside from a microphone. I could be wrong. I'll
ask him and post what he did here.
