Looking for early hacking/cracking docs/experiences
Hello, all...
Before I go any further, I would like to disclaim that I know
there's a big difference between hacking and cracking, despite
their proximity in the subject line.
I'm doing research on the early days of Apple cracking and hacking,
particularily how a lot of people in computer science today got
their start by boot tracing, etc. I am looking for two things:
cracking/hacking/phreaking [f|ph]iles, like the old Krakowitz ones
and personal experiences, so if you have interesting stories about
the stuff you used to do ten years ago with your apple that you'd like
to type up, or if you have some old files lying around, please send
either to me :) Also, let me know if you'd like to be acknowledged.
This paper is for a class, but it's probably something that I'm going
to expand upon in the future. Also, I'm putting together a vintage
apple page on my web server, so if you have a page with some interesting
stuff on it and you'd like to link it with my page, send me the URL.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
