XcessDnied moaned in anticipation of my whip:
x| switch. will this card work on an apple ][+ ? thats what i could
x| sure use it on! :\ i plugged it into the expansion port on my
x| laser128 and i think i did a pr#7 or something like that to get to
x| it, and it said the d8 rom is bad, although the machine works
x| fine, probably because its not genuine apple. anyone have any
I used one of those cards at my alma mater! :) Plug the sucker into
your ][+ and find out! :) I know they work with the ][e cuz that's
all we had there. And you might be right about the "genuine Apple"
thing -- someone loaned me a drive card which did diagnostics on
powerup and it was for the ][+. How do I know? It returned memory
errors on my perfectly-working //e, and it wouldn't launch ProDOS.
I didn't see the manual for the card you have (either), so just try it
and hope that it doesn't explode. :) It's a no-brainer card anyhow.
