Ftp.apple.com supports anonymous ftp. Try connecting again!

There is another place where these disks can be had, but it requires
that you own, or have access to, a Macintosh. The site is
ftp.support.apple.com, which also supports anonymous ftp access. The
6.0.1 disks are located in the directory "/pub/Apple SW Updates/Apple
II/Apple IIGS System 6.0.1/". The "s are important here, since the
directories contain spaces!

The archives on this site are in BinHex format (.hqx), and when
unBinHexed, are in DiskCopy disk archives. This is why a Macintosh is
required--to unBinHex and unarchive these files.
