I wasn't aware my artwork was the sole reason for it's delay (my
impression was there was still much "tweaking" to be done programming and
feature-wise). School and work have had me occuppied, though the main
reason for my delay is my RGB monitor is all messed up. I do plan on
purchasing a new monitor within a few days, and hopefully I can scrape up
enough spare time to finish things up quickly! :) My priority will be
to finish the splash screen so that MODZap 1.0 can be released within a
few weeks (if indeed all programming/features are completed). Then I'll
try and follow up with new player graphics -- I'm thinking of a single
player screen with a modular display window. Something like the French
United Cracking Klan's ZZCopy, a window display will open and close each
time you change players (VU meters, oscillascope, quadrascope, etc). If
player modules can be swapped on-the-fly, this would be quite something!
One idea in mind is doing a player carved out of stone, or crystal quartz,
depending if I can work around the 16-colors per scanline.
