Novation Apple Cat II Modem

Hi.  I am trying to get a Novation Apple Cat II modem to work in my GS.
I haven't had much luck, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't trying the
impossible.  Has anyone else gotten this setup to work?  If so, could
you please give me some pointers?

I do have the 212 board by the way.
I would be interested in finding:
the expansion module (or pinouts)
the firmware ROM chip
the Touchtone receiver
and the BSR Remote Control Transformer
