Yes, there is.  ADT has been updated to use the native GS modem port.
If you run ADT on the GS, it will automatically select that as the
default communications device.

Yes, it is.

The ADTPro server has an easier bootstrapping solution, but it still
takes a lot of steps.  The following is a URL to the bootstrapping
instructions to get ADT running via the ADTPro server, which can serve
both ADT and ADTPro clients:

But it might be simpler just to send a physical floppy via snail mail.

If there's a way I can make ADTPro (which is written in Java)
accessible, I'd be interested in giving it a try.
