Jeesh, where to begin? The IIc is a _very_ capable computer that
can be enhanced quite a bit depending on how much you want to
tinker with it. To get the big picture I'd suggest a visit to your
local library where you're likely to find quite a few books on the
Apple II in general, and stuff on the Apple IIe/c in particular.
You might also see about getting the latest system software (ProDOS
and it's utilities) and the older DOS 3.3 system disk. Your local
Apple Users Group should have these, and other software as well.
One thing we like using our IIc for is tying it to the outside
world through the game port. For example, we used a IIc to watch
the temperature drop during last Spring's solar eclipse.

Enough rambling for now! To sum up a bit, the IIc is a really
nice, simple computer to work with.
