	*sigh*  I hate following up my own posts, but something
incredibly weird just happened (yes, again).  I shiftbooted, went into
GNO, started jv.prerelease (that jpeg viewer) and loaded a pic.  About
a third of the way thru it, my GS crashed (getting used to that
"THUNG" sound nowadays), but incredibly, jv.prerelease kept decoding
the jpeg file!  In fact, it decoded the whole picture (but didn't move
into the "window" part).  While decoding, I heard "THUNG" twice more. 
I would like to know how is this possible, that processing continues
after a crash?  The decoding speed was halved tho, and jerky.
	Oh, how did I know it was a crash?  I did a ctrl-reset and
could see all those lines from the monitor (including all the status
bits and stuff).
