   As far as I know (there have been no official announcements out
on this end of the net), EV has not been released at all. It's sorta
been in extended beta/development (the author was apparently doing
everything in a freetools sort of way, which means you have to do
2-3 times the work of say DreamGrafix) for a number of years.
