SCIIbin on SunOS?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

No, this isn't really an Apple II article. So sue me. It does,
however, deal directly with the Apple II.

I just downloaded SCIIbin 3.0 from grind, and I'm trying to
compile it on my school's SPARCClassic (SunOS 4.1.3). In sciibin.c, the
command to compile is given as

	cc sciibin.c -Oso sciibin

	This gave two errors:

cc: Warning: File with unknown suffix (sciibin) passed to ld
cc: Illegal optimization option "-Os"

OK, I figured, I should just use gcc (v2.6.0) instead of cc. This
also yielded two errors:

gcc: sciibin: No such file or directory
cc1: Invalid option `-Oso'

and a binary that wouldn't run. Any ideas on how to get this
running would be appreciated, preferably via E-Mail (as I doubt the rest
of the group wants to know). Thanks!
