There is no need to limit yourself to two UniDisk 3.5 drives - the
firmware probably supports up to six 3.5" drives (e.g. two Apple 3.5
and four UniDisk 3.5, or six UniDisk 3.5). You cannot connect more
than six drives (in total, all types), or you may overload the power
supply and signal capacity of the computer.
I've never tried connecting more than one UniDisk 3.5 (the only one
I've ever seen).
The limit of two Apple 3.5 drives still stands.
