Hey, wow! This is probably a _real_ case of a synchronization error
between the IIgs and the keyboard micro (rather than a heat-induced
glitch).

Does it actually reboot before reporting the error (i.e. do you get
the "Apple IIgs" title, or at least two beeps?)

Without disassembling the relevant code, I don't have any immediate
ideas on why it might be causing an error. The only thing that comes
to mind is the keyboard micro may be taking a little time to
reinitialize, and the IIgs isn't waiting long enough. The keyboard
micro probably thinks the reset key is still down.

I don't have an accelerator at the moment, so I can't try it myself.
Not exactly hard to avoid, unless you are disabled and need sticky keys.
