CDROM Audio drivers for IIgs?

In Mac-land there's a CDROM drive controller thing in the control panel, 
which lets you control the functions of the drive as you would on a 
"normal" CD player :  play, shuffle, ff, rew, etc.  

I haven't yet examined the Sys 601 CD drivers:  is something like what 
I've described above available for the IIgs?  

Don't ask what sort of model the CDROM drive is:  I bought it through the 
net and it hasn't yet arrived...oh well.  Thanks for your replies!
