I was publically attacked. I felt I had to respond, at least once.
I believe my response was on the whole very civil and free of flammable
material. I believed that the facts of the situation, including
some ludicrous motives that were assigned to me, were highly distorted,
and I wanted to set the record straight. I barely find time to eat,
let alone defend myself like this, daily.

I own a PC, so I _know_ it's not "us against the PC world". In fact,
I wrote discQuest, so I'm one of the people who realizes just how useful
the PC world can be to us. Same goes for products like the Blue Disk,
PCTransporter (for all its flaws), Pointless, etc etc.

Let's drop this talk of "doing the community a service". I do as
much Apple II stuff as I do because it makes money! :-) I like the II
world because it's fun, but if I couldn't make a living at it I'd sure
spend a lot less time at it.

  Thanks for your support.

  BTW, if a homeless guy did write/finish up TCP/IP, I wouldn't thank
him, I'd pay him. :)

There's one person on this newsgroup who is wielding a flame thrower,
and it isn't you, and it isn't me. I'm being AMAZINGLY civil, considering
my respectable capabilities, talent, and experience in the art
of written demolition. :-)
