There's a JPEG Viewer (it was on the net a few months ago) that's in the
pre-release stage right now...it loads JPEGS, shows you a thumbnail
estimate, and then shows the entire JPEG in b&w.  A very good program,
IMHO.  It should be available at grind or cco (grind.isca.uiowa.edu or
cco.caltech.edu) under the name JVPREREL.SHK or something similar.
