Apple computer for small business?

Hello, Apple Wizards:

I need your help.

An OLD lady who runs her own business and has no any expierence in
computers is planning to buy a computer.  I told her that Apple
computers are easier to use than PC-dos-windows.

But, how about software packages? Are there many nice business
software packages for Apples which can fit her needs? I have no any
idea. I know unix boxes, pc-dos-windows pretty well, but not Apples
:-( :-<, especially, this lady needs this computer to do business work
such as accounts, tables, letters, .... not just multimedia, games, ...

Can you give me some points about what good business software
packadges on Apples are good for her?
