- Summary: I just got an Apple //c, where to get software?
I just picked up an Apple //c yesterday, my first Apple and
now I'm looking for software and peripherals. I got a working
//c, with an extra external floppy and a smallish monochrome
monitor for a price I couldn't resist.
Now I need to know if there's an FTP site for 8-bit apples? I
noticed that there is a DIN-looking connector in the back and
a modem symbol. Being a bright guy I figured out what that is
for but I wonder what type of cable I need, and where can I get
one. Also, even with a cable, will the //c support a standard
modem? And how fast? I have an extra 14,400 and a couple of
9600's.
Is there still software being developed for this machine? Any
info appreciated.
