You are sure going to have a lot of e-mail to go through... :)  Also, who's
to say that if somebody _really_ wanted to get a file by you, they wouldn't
forge some e-mail? It's certainly easy enough to do... It would be easier
to just inspect the files themselves (at least, this is what I do here
at Caltech) to make sure they're legitimate.

Ouch. A little bit severe, isn't this?

There will most certainly be no "police state" set up on Caltech's site. I
will continue to do what I have been doing for the past year and a half, which
is checking the files and using my own (IMHO relatively good) judgement. :)
