Grind files update

Fellow csa2'ers:

Ian Schmidt and Richard Wifall have finally convinced me that I have been
duped by Dr. Tom.  I have been negligent in determining the authenticity
of files archived on grind from the upload/ directory and cba2 posts.

My sincere apology to the 'Net users and grind FTP users.  It won't happen
again to the best of my abilities.

The following are my requirements for grind..apple2 files.

1)  Only files which are placed in upload/ by their author or by someone
with the permission of the author will be kept.  A E-mail message to
apple2pd@grind.isca.uiowa.edu or steven-nelson@uiowa.edu will be required
for any uploaded file.  I will request re-verification from the author
whenever I feel the possibility of a bogus submission.

2) Only cba2 posts which are posted by the author will be kept.  All others
will be zapped unless the author e-mails apple2pd or me permission to keep
the posts.

For now, the caltech, umich, wustl apple2 mirrors will remain.  I'll leave
it up to their admins to police their sites.

For now, all 1WSW files that I know of are being zapped from grind.  Others
that are involved in the dispute are being zapped because I don't know
who uploaded what.  Hopefully they will be re-submitted.

Over the next few months I will be deleting any cba2 files not posted by
their author, and which I am unable to contact the known author for
permission to keep the file.  (I could use a lot of help on this.)

I hope this makes grind a more secure archive site.  I don't want any more
legal hassles.  I'm sorry my lax judgement almost cost a2 users the grind
apple2 drive they so graciously gave donations for.

I hope better days lie ahead!  Apple II forever!
