I have noticed the same thing.  I just got the UB 2.08 the other day.  I
installed it and I like it.  I have noticed a pause.  When the screen blanks
and the ball starts bouncing ... the mouse doesn't get the screen back.  I have
to touch a key.  Also, the pause is in the mouse control.  I am using this and
have noticed it in ProTERM and GBBS pro so far.
