I have two Laser 128s at school. They've never had printers on them, but
now I have a Laser 190A printer I'd like to use. The printer has DIN5 to
DB25 cable, connected to the printers serial port. When I try to print,
nothing happens. The printer, with same cable, does work on an Apple IIc,
defined as an ImageWriter II.
As an example of software I'm using, Childrens Writing and Publishing
Center allows me to set printer type, card type, and slot number. I
haven't been able to come up with any combination of these that works,
including ImageWriter II, Apple IIc serial, and slot 1, which is what I
think it should be. I don't have any documentation on either the Laser
128 or the Laser 190A printer.
Can anyone suggest things to try, or perhaps not have lost their
documentation?
