Speaking of ISDN, I'd certainly love to get something like IBM's
WaveRunner for Apple IIs... The WaveRunner is a "digital modem" which
lets you send data or voice over your ISDN line. It will also function
as a v.32bis modem so you don't need an extra modem when you want to
call up someone without ISDN.

While it's certainly possible to use an ISDN to serial terminal
adapter, running the serial port at 57600 or 115200 baud doesn't sound
like much fun, especially while multitasking :-)

However, I'd settle for an ethernet card... ISDN to ethernet bridges
are available, although they're currently quite expensive ($1000 and
up, I think).

ISDN has been available in Austin for about a month now, and the rates
are pretty reasonable ($50/month, unmetered service). Installation and
equipment costs are still really high though :(
