I've had this error come up too (usually on a hot day) used to come up 
even more often before I made the decision to run my IIgs open.  If you 
have a Sonic Blaster (AE) card, you're at a bigger risk of IIgs heat 
stroke, I'm told :)

you'll be surprised at how effective dusting off the chips and motherboard 
will accomplish!  Get one of those compressed-air cans that they sell at 
computer stores and shpritz away!

there's also a very nifty CDA called "error-codes"... after your system 
crashes and you let it cool off, boot your machine back up, and go into 
the CDA and find the error-code number in its list.  It has the error 
codes for Fatal System Errors, GS/OS (5.4 <sigh>), ProDOS 8, Self Test, 
and BASIC.  Should be up on an FTP site or Apple ][ BBS near you......
